What is Destination D.C?
Destination D.C. is an annual project endorsed by the Mare Island Technology School Board, in which the graduating senior class fundraises upwards of $60,000 to send 60 seniors to D.C. for a one week cross curricular project. This project is funded solely by fundraising, as 100% of all the profits and proceeds raised by the senior class of MITA, go towards the project. This project would not be possible if it wasn't for private donors and sponsers like you!

About Us
Mare Island Technology Academy, is a school for success. Year after year, each graduating class is able to exceed the expectations of the previous class. But the graduating class of 2014 seems to just out due the rest. From breaking school fundraising records to having one of the largest college bound graduating classes to come from M.I.T. Academy. Even with our intensive fundarising campaigns, we know that we can't do this alone. The support of any donors/sponsors can make the difference between a student making it to Destination D.C.
